Brainspotting reaches the deeper parts of the brain- beyond our concious thinking, insight and analysis.

Areas that are hard or impossible to acces through talk therapy, where the blockages persist. 
By focusing on specific areas in the brain and body and maintaining that focus, the system moves toward healing.
Blockages are released, and quality of life improves.
The body no longer reacts with stress; the trauma, blockage or anxiety is resolved.

How it works

The eyes are an important access point to the brain. “Where we look affects how we feel.”
Body sensations become noticeable when you focus on the issue you want to work on.
We identify a specific eye position, a point in the visual field. This position corresponds with parts of the brain and body where the trauma or blockage resides.
By maintaining focus on this point and tuning into body sensations, the brain has the opportunity to restore balance, allowing this specific area of the brain to self-regulate, while the trauma or blockage gradually dissolves.
